Our Symbol
Why a circle traced in gold? A Circle whose story you can see.
I first saw kintsugi thirty years ago, when I lived in Japan: the art of honoring a vessel's history by tracing its seams in gold. I didn't know then that one day it would become the symbol of something I would build.
What stayed with me wasn't the gold itself. It was the light: the way it caught in the seams and seemed to shine through them, and how the vessel's history had become part of its beauty.
The seams did not remove pieces. They revealed where the light had entered.
Likewise, a life leaves its lines. A love that changed shape. A season that asked everything of you. A path you chose, or one that chose you. Or a life you built on your own terms and wouldn't trade. Every line is a place you've lived. And the light moves through all of it: your joy, your pain, your courage, your humor, your softness, and the wisdom that only living can bring.
In the same way, our circle is traced through with gold, and the light comes through wherever the story shows.
The glow is quiet, closer to candlelight than spotlight. Because this was never about shining for anyone else. It's about a woman looking at her own life and seeing how much of it shines.
And the circle around the light? That's us. Women who understand without the long explanation, who share what they know and what they have discovered along the way. The light in the seams is compassion, friendship, courage, hope, curiosity, and faithful attention.
A circle is complete the moment it exists. So are you.
However you show up, you are still part of this.
