Joy Garden

For the small bright things that make a life feel like your own.

Joy does not need to be extraordinary to deserve a place. It might be something blooming on the windowsill, a recipe worth passing along, a dog asleep in an impossible position, a book you cannot stop thinking about, a song that changed the afternoon, or a photograph you took because the light was beautiful.

The Joy Garden is where those small bright things are gathered and passed around. Share something of your own, or simply wander through when you could use a little lift.

Nothing here needs to become advice or a profound life lesson. You may simply want another woman to see what you saw and enjoy it with you.

This is not a demand for positivity, and it does not ask anyone to pretend that life is easy. Grief and joy can exist beside one another. A difficult season can still contain a beautiful morning, a wonderful meal, an unexpected laugh, or something new beginning to grow.

If the heart of your post is “This delighted me, and I wanted to share it,” it belongs here.

Joy grows when it is noticed, and again when it is shared.
